Application of aluminum pigments in self-spraying paint
Products with silver metallic luster can be seen everywhere, but not all
products with silver metallic luster are aluminum products. The
emergence of aluminum pigments makes up for the market's demand for
silver metallic pigments. Aluminum pigments are widely used in coatings,
inks, color masterbatches, plastics, glass fibers and many other
industries. The following mainly introduces the application of aluminum
pigments in self-painting.
What is self-painting?
Self-spraying, that is, aerosol paint, is a kind of paint that is
convenient to spray after the paint is processed by a special method and
filled with high pressure. It is also called manual spraying. Aluminum
paste is also called chrome paste and galvanized paste in the
self-painting industry. Self-painting requires good leveling and strong
hiding power; excellent gloss and color retention performance; spray
rate above 96%; matching with appropriate primers, good adhesion; good
chemical resistance and water resistance. The applicability is more
extensive than paint, and in the future development of coatings,
self-painting will have a place. Due to the special nature of its
packaging, self-painting is generally tested for aging resistance. After
the paint is placed in a jar, it is required to test its performance at
50°C for one week.
Self-painting has a wide range of uses. Through the economic development
in recent years, the use has been developed from repairing paint
defects at the beginning to molds, industrial machinery, toys,
handicrafts, musical instruments, buildings, steel structures,
advertising industry, signs, graffiti And so on in various industries.
Even in the animal husbandry industry, there are application cases where
colors are used to distinguish the cattle and herds of various farmers.
